1- As I told you, I was interviewed by the magazine Business week. The article was out for the week of November 28. It is not free from their website, but here is the address : Business week (the article name is "So you want to be an Internet star ?") - There is a nice picture of me (in the magazine).

I scanned it, so if you want I can put an extract of it in the transcript next time (as the article is not free on the Internet, I do not want to put the entire one).

 

2 - Also, I made for fun, some stickers, just like this one - with some different line (like " A certain ... je ne sais quoi") - If you have some ideas, please let me know, I will be glad to stick something else on my old laptop, and answers people questions where ever I bring it! Review sheet of the FrenchPodClass #1

Bonjour ! Welcome to the French Pod Class. 

The FrenchPodClass is a podcast to help French language learners and Francophiles brush up on their French. Its aim is to present vocabulary on a specific subject and reveal some part of the language or culture that may be new to you. The podcast is a weekly broadcast and started on July 14^th 2005.

If you are here now, it’s probably because you may want to know more about it.

A list of all topics covered to date is available here. Many media are provided to help you in your objective of “mastering the language?: audio, video, transcripts, exercises, bilingual books, games … After lesson #12, the topic format is as follow:

· Even numbered podcasts: starts a new topic.  A discussion from the previous podcast’s topic is presented and completes the prior topic cycle. A Video Vocabulary is presented on the new topic.

· Odd numbered podcasts: continue and finish the topic. A grammar point (with exercises in audio and pdf format) is reviewed.

·  Every now and then, you will also get a "conversation" or an interview, along with a transcript to follow up, so you can see and understand how a discussion can take place (trying to do it as of April 07). There are also bilinguals books produced, at a rate of a chapter a week. There is a side by side text.

Note: Starting at podcast 68, the videos, exercises, and full pdf are only available in the member section.

You will notice, over the weeks, that the sound and video quality went from “not very good? - and “acceptable? to “nice!? Same goes for typos and mistakes. The podcast is being improved  continuously.

In the podcast, you will also discover some musical break, audio comment and movies/book review (from different sources). Those are included, to give a break while learning, and most importantly to help you discover part of the culture. These are here only for the objectives of an educational purpose. That is why it is important, if you like a particular song, book, or movie, to purchase it. Links are posted to help you find them.
